Professional Bio of Dennis Eckstine.

Mr. Dennis W. Eckstine’s experience alone totals over 25 years in equipment safety and litigation support. Through his active involvement in current standards committees and his engineering and product safety experience at Grove Worldwide he brings a solid scientific and practical background to his clients.

He was previously Vice President, Senior Director of Product Safety & Reliability, and Director of Engineering Administration for different major manufacturers. He possesses a BSME and MBA. Mr. Eckstine started as a full time employee in the construction equipment industry in 1971 for Grove.

He is currently a member of numerous committees within the organizations of American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO or CCO). Mr. Eckstine was the founding International Chairman of ISO TC 214 for Elevating Work Platforms (Aerial Lifts). He was the International Chairman of ISO Technical Committee 96 Subcommittee 6 (Mobile Cranes) for more than 15 years. He is currently the International Chairman of ISO Technical Committee 96 Subcommittee 8 (Jib Cranes) and a Commissioner of CCO.

Professional Bio of Matthew Eckstine.

Matthew B. Eckstine’s experience in product safety, design compliance and product quality assurance totals over 10 years. Through his active involvement in current standards committees and his product safety experience at a worldwide manufacturer of lifting equipment he brings a solid scientific and practical background to his clients.

He was previously Manager of Product Safety for North and South America for a major manufacturer of lifting equipment. He has been performing product safety, safe use consulting and litigation support services as a full-time employee with Eckstine & Associates, Inc since 2018. He possesses a BSBA and a MS in Safety Sciences.

He is currently a member of numerous committees that write standards for the safe use of aerial work platforms (MEWPS), cranes and forklifts. These committees are within the organizations of American National Standards Institute (ANSI), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO or CCO).
